A list of ‘neccessary’ items to bring:

• LINENS:
  • FOR THE BATH: hand towels & wash clothes. 
  • FOR THE KITCHEN: dish towels, dish cloths.   
  • FOR THE HOT TUB: large size towels 
• ’emergency’ lighting
• bottled water  (our properties are supplied by well water, potable, but some might find it objectionable if they are accustomed to city water)
• coffee filters, paper basket type for the coffee maker
• paper towels
• personal toiletries, hair dryer
• supplies for Charcoal grill (briquettes & lighter)
• fire starters, matches if staying at the Big Poplar or Swinging Vine. They have the wood burning stoves. We provide the wood.
• wine opener

A list of things to bring that you may feel will add to your comfort during your stay:

• Heavy blankets. Bed linens are provided, as well as a medium weight duvet
• memory foam mattress topper (we have firm bedding without pillow tops)
• throws for furniture. We have leather couches, and something softer to the touch may be preferred.
• lawn chairs, or chaise lounges. Our decks and porches are ‘furnished’, but not with seating that can be moved to the lawn areas.
• non stick’ frying pan ( we provide stainless steel frying pans)
• specialty use kitchen tools ( electric mixers, blenders, processors)

You will find your beds made when you arrive, and that’s when your vacation begins !
